What Is Youth For Christ?
Youth For Christ is a global Christian movement — active in more than 100 countries — whose goal is to reach young people with the hope and love of Jesus Christ and help them grow into lifelong followers.

Mission & Purpose
YFC partners with local churches and like-minded organizations to “raise up lifelong followers of Jesus,” especially among teens and young people. 
They strive to build Christ-centered communities where young people are encouraged to live with integrity, rooted in prayer and the Word, committed to sharing love and serving others.

How YFC Operates

• Relational ministry: YFC meets young people “where they are” — in schools, community centers, juvenile-justice settings, camps, and other environments — forging genuine, supportive, faith-based relationships.

• Youth empowerment: Through programs like YFC Core®, students are invited to mentor peers, share faith, and build community — helping them step into leadership among their generation.

• Holistic support: YFC reaches a diverse set of youth — including those facing challenges like instability, trauma, institutionalization, or transition — offering hope, stability, and community.

Impact and Reach
Since its founding in 1944, YFC has grown into one of the leading youth-focused Christian ministries worldwide. 
In 2022–2023 alone, YFC reported a significant increase across key ministry metrics — more youth connected to caring adults, more first-time faith decisions, and rising numbers of young people now living out their faith and sharing their stories.

Adolescence and young adulthood often bring pivotal moments — transitions, uncertainty, questions of identity, and social pressures. YFC brings a message of hope, belonging, and purpose at those moments.
