Spotlight: Do As I Have Done Humanitarian Outreach

What Is Do As I Have Done?
Do As I Have Done is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving under-resourced and underserved communities by providing professional foot-care and much more. Their mission is to demonstrate the love of Christ through compassionate care, and to support individuals’ overall well-being — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Mission & Vision

  • Mission: Provide compassionate foot-care to underserved communities, build authentic relationships, and help people gain access to sustainable resources and meaningful support that improve quality of life.

  • Vision: That all humanity be reminded of the power and reward of serving others — ensuring everyone feels loved, cared for, and valued.

What They Do

  • Offer professional foot-care services to populations who may otherwise lack access — including seniors, homeless individuals, disabled persons, veterans, and others in need.

  • Provide holistic support and resources such as access to healthcare, housing help, counseling, education/training, and other community services — working in partnership with other local nonprofits and organizations.

  • Organize community outreach events — for example “medical pedicures” at shelters or centers, and “foot-drives” where donated shoes and socks are collected and distributed to those in need.

Why Do As I Have Done Matters
Proper foot-care is often overlooked — yet it can be critical for overall health, especially for vulnerable populations. By meeting this basic need, Do As I Have Done helps prevent infection, disease, and mobility challenges, while also offering dignity, compassion, and hope. At the same time, their broader support efforts help connect individuals to essential resources, community, and a path toward stability.

How You Can Get Involved or Help

  • Donate: Contributions help fund foot-care services, community outreach, and broader support for those who are under-resourced.

  • Volunteer: Individuals and groups can volunteer time or resources — whether to help with outreach events, distribute supplies, or support administrative and logistical needs.

  • Spread the Word: Share their mission with friends, faith communities, churches, or social networks to help raise awareness of their work and encourage support.
