What Is PLI?
Prestige Learning Institute is a Houston-based nonprofit organization that supports immigrant and refugee families as they build new lives in the United States. PLI offers educational and community-support programs designed to help families thrive — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Mission & Purpose
PLI is committed to walking alongside immigrant and refugee families — welcoming the stranger, offering help, and providing ongoing support. Their goal is to help families feel stable and supported as they navigate a new culture, language, and community.

What They Do

  • ESL (English as a Second Language): PLI runs ESL classes tailored for men and women (with childcare offered during certain sessions) to help families overcome language barriers.

  • Children & Youth Programs: From after-school homework help to early-childhood support, PLI offers learning and care opportunities that help children adapt, grow, and succeed.

  • Men’s, Women’s & Teen-Girl Programs: PLI supports individuals across generations — offering community, mentorship, and programs that address social, educational, and emotional needs.
